The Church of Sweden is located throughout Greece, with an emphasis on Athens. The parish house at Sotiros 7 in Plaka is our most important meeting point. The Swedish Church was founded about 45 years ago, initially to help Scandinavian sailors and travelers. It now serves the need of Scandinavians living in Greece to find a common bond with their homeland again, to speak their language again and to pray in a church with memories from their childhood.
